Changes to How Maintenance and Child Support is Determined

There are significant changes taking place in Family Law cases including maintenance (alimony), child support and civil unions. The Colorado Legislature was very busy during their last session modifying many areas that affect your divorce case and child support issues. Many more cases will compel the Court to use a formula for determining maintenance when maintenance is awarded including the monthly amount and the length of payments.
