Completed her BA degrees from the Johns Hopkins University in Biology and Psychology in 1995. She then earned her M.D degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in 1999. Dr. Holmes studied at the University of Utah Medical Center, earning a Masters of Science in 1999. In 2003, she continued her studies at the University of Utah School of Medicine, achieving her MD.
