Rachel Lopez

Senior Attorney

Rachel was born in Aurora, Colorado. After living in Florida for eight years to complete her education, she returned to Colorado to pursue her legal career. Rachel worked as a prosecutor for the Denver District Attorney’s Office as a felony Deputy District Attorney before joining the ranks of family law legal professionals in 2022. Rachel strongly believes that the struggles spouses and parents go through in the judicial system can be one of the most challenging times in someone’s life. She knows that having a zealous advocate in your corner can make all the difference. Rachel strives to use her many years of litigation experience to give you the legal representation you deserve.

She received a Bachelor of Science from Florida International University with a major in Elementary Education and an endorsement in English as a Second Language teaching (2014). She then received a Juris Doctor from Florida State University (2018) where she graduated in the top 10 students of her class. In law school, Rachel served as President of the FSU Trial Team, earning several competition titles including National Champion at the Buffalo Niagara Trial Competition and two Best Advocate Awards.

What you might not know: Rachel is an avid fan of college football. While FSU will always be her favorite team, she loves cheering on the CU Buffs and UCF Knights with her husband and son. Go Noles!
