Biggest Loser contestants Sam Poueu and Stephanie Anderson are in the process of getting divorced only two months from the due date of the birth of their first child. Their announcement has a lot of their fans wondering “what the heck?: If a source close to the situation is to be believed, the reason is not a good one.

Thirty-three-year-old Stephanie felt the couple was not connecting and sought counseling. In one of the sessions, Sam allegedly decided to come clean, according to the friend of the couple. Sam admitted that he had cheated on Stephanie with lots of women several different times during the time they dated and several different times during their marriage. He told her everything. That was too much for Stephanie, who according to the source, who initiated the divorce from Sam.

Sam Poueu did not exactly jump in to defend himself, “perhaps out of guilt,” the anonymous source said. Sam said in a prepared statement that “the circumstances and specifics of our marriage and our separation are extremely private and difficult.” He says that both he and Stephanie are primarily focused on the scheduled July birth of their son and they both want to do what is best for the boy.
