Knicky Van Goetz

Senior Attorney I

Knicky Van Goetz is an honest and assertive Colorado family law attorney with courtroom experience in over a dozen jurisdictions throughout the state. Knicky is a devoted advocate for her clients, motivated to deliver favorable results while helping navigate the often emotional and complex issues that arise in family law cases in an individualized manner.

Knicky prides herself on her communication skills, always seeking to ensure that each client is fully informed of the options available to them. While family law cases are innately adversarial and can be driven by emotion, Knicky will consistently encourage a redirected focus on the legally relevant topics, always keeping a client’s goals at the forefront of strategic decisions.

Prior to joining Jones Law Firm, PC, Knicky was a Senior Managing Associate at a local firm specializing in complex family law matters. Knicky has also practiced as a criminal defense attorney with the Colorado State Public Defender’s office. Her multifaceted background has resulted in a strong display of innate confidence in her courtroom and leadership skills. While Knicky doesn’t shy away from litigation, she is equally pleased to negotiate creative solutions to resolve disputed issues without the need for court involvement.

Apart from work, Knicky enjoys spending as much time as possible partaking in all outdoor adventures, camping, and hiking with her husband and their dogs.
