Black History is More Than a Month

In a recent article in the Colorado Biz Magazine, April D. Jones shares ideas on extending Black History Month beyond February. She encourages recognizing black leaders on the corporate board, participating in mentorship programs, and diversifying vendor pools to support black-owned businesses.

She states, “While these changes can’t and won’t happen overnight, the fact that you are working towards them shows that you care about diversity and Black History throughout all 12 months of the year.”
